Thank you for choosing to renew your SOC membership

Please complete the steps below to renew your subscription online. If you experience any difficulties in completing this form, please contact us on 01875 871 330. 

If you already pay your annual membership subscription by Direct Debit, please do not complete a new Direct Debit mandate as we already have your bank details and your account will be debited automatically on or around your renewal date. If your bank details have changed recently, please contact us on the number above.

Format

We are pleased to offer the option of a digital membership. By switching to digital, you will have online-only access to the Club’s quarterly journal, Scottish Birds, and receive all other core membership information electronically. 

A Full (print+digital) membership comprises a subscription to the printed copy of Scottish Birds in addition to access to the online version.

 

The personal details supplied on this form will be held by SOC in a secure environment. We will share personal details with HMRC solely for the purposes of recovering tax on Gift Aid (if applicable). Other than HMRC, we will not share personal data with any third party, other than that required by law unless you actively sign up to our mailing list.. The SOC will use your details to administer your membership. Name(s) of new members are passed to the Local Branch. If paying by Direct Debit, bank details are shared with the Bacs-approved and FCA-regulated bureau that we use to process Direct Debit payments. If paying by Credit or Debit card, in order to minimise the risk of security incidents, SOC fully outsource all payment processing to FoxyCart.com. FoxyCart is PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) Compliant as a Level 1 Service Provider, and is listed on both Visa and MasterCard's global registries. Anytime you submit payment information via the Club's website, you are submitting through FoxyCart's secure infrastructure. If you opt to save your payment information during checkout, that information is stored at FoxyCart. SOC don't have access to your payment details except for the last 4 digits, the card type, and the expiration date.
