Buzzard trio: Buzzard, 18-09-2021, Richard Whitson, Cathkin Marsh SWT, Clyde
Three Buzzards, possibly from same family, soaring above the marsh. The plumage variations between these birds (including missing feathers) can be used to identify individuals ... at least over a period of a few weeks.... before missing feathers grow back naturally.

Photo bomb: Water Rail, 16-09-2021, Richard Whitson, Cathkin Marsh SWT, Clyde
Whilst watching a Water Rail preening and sunning itself I notice a movement in the vegetation off to its right.... on zooming in I spotted this furry little visitor chewing on the vegetation .... from its size (relative to the Water Rail which is itself a small bird) I reckon it is a Bank Vole or maybe a Field Vole, but too small I think for a Water Vole.

Goldcrest take off: Goldcrest, 15-09-2021, John Agnew, ardochrig Forest Nr Whitelee Windfarm, Clyde
Watching a group of 8 Goldcrests (adults and juveniles) flitting through the dense lower tree cover on the hunt for spiders and grubs, not only do they keep contact with each other by constantly " chirping and peeping" the yellow crest and feet are also a clear visual aid to the group.
