Dippers on the River Nairn: Dipper, gularis (British), 11-04-2021, Seamus McArdle, River Nairn, Moray and Nairn
Dippers are a regular sight on this part of the River Nairn, and this pair use this rock as a perch as they wait to wade into the fast moving water in the search for food. Shot using a Sony RX10 mkIV 1/640 sec at F4, 1,600 ISO.

Swallow over meadow: Swallow, 13-06-2021, Richard Whitson, Cathkin Marsh SWT, Clyde
Rarely large numbers of Swallows at the marsh but when they do arrive they make lovely viewing either swooping low over the pond or chasing insects out over the surrounding grasses. Sony A1 + Sony FE 200-600 G lens @ 600mm, 1/2500s, f6.3, ISO 800
