I saw this Little Grebe quite obviously trying to swallow something but, despite, eventually, being successful, having extreme difficulty in doing so and thrashing about wildly in the process. Imagine my surprise when I processed my images to discover that the prey was an Eel which I thought would have been too large for a Little Grebe.
