This is the second of two images.First photo the male Goldcrest landed by the Juvenile and immediately displayed his yellow orange crest.In this picture the Juvenile did something I don't know what but it caused the parent to jump up backwards so a lucky snapshot.
Dull day ,no wind lots of Goldcrests feeding in the conifers.

Male Goldcrest showing orange /red crest.I've never witnessed a Goldcrest with it's crest on full display.The male bird landed beside the fledgling and the juvenile received this response .
Dull day ,forest full of Goldcrests all actively searching conifer trees for bugs.

Dull day overcast,I was taking photographs of immature Blackbirds gorging themselves on Rowan Berries when I noticed this rather stunning Tree Pipit.This is a first for me as I've never been able to ID Tree Pipits from Meadow Pipits so imagine my surprise to see one in my back garden.Tree pipits are primarily insect eaters but I've read they will eat berries in the autumn so that may explain the unusual visit.Nikon D850,500mm f4 lens,Bean bag on top floor window sill to support lens so I can look onto the top of the Rowan Tree.
