Goldcrest displaying by the River Teith: Goldcrest, 19-02-2023, Roger Stewart, River Teith by Doune, Upper Forth
Dont forget the little ones! One of a pair of Goldcrest displaying in the trees, who showed well to members of the SOC Central Branch while walking between Doune Bridge and Blair Drummond Ponds while scouting for locations in preparation for the Scottish Birdwatchers Conference to be held in Stirling in March. As they flitted among the trees their crests occasionally stood up and showed really well, even if their call is now far too high a frequency for many of us!
